Currently located in Manhattan to move to Brooklyn in 2024
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High school graduate.
- Desirable: Completion of a pharmacy technician training program with an Associate of Arts Degree, Associate of Science Degree, or Certificate of Completion.
- Passed the National Pharmacy Certified Technician (CpHt) exam.
- Completed the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists (ASHP) or equivalent aseptic technique course.
Experience:
- Have a minimum of six months hospital pharmacy technician or related experience and a good working knowledge of pharmacy procedures; or
- Have a minimum of six months pharmacy technician experience in preparing IV's.
- Completed employer approved hazardous chemical handling and waste disposal training program.
Fulltime Employment:
- 40hrs per week. Work week is Monday thru Friday
- Schedule determined by supervisor.
