New Job Opportunity - Foreign Patent Prosecution Paralegal:

New and exciting job opportunity with our client based out of Washington D.C. Looking to hire an someone who has 4 years of foreign patent work experience 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - Direct Hire 
• Hybrid - 3 days a week on site 
• Compensation is dependent on experience ( Ranging from 65k-85k)

Day to Day Activities:

• Running reports of deadlines to monitor
• Assisting in the monthly billing process
• Frequently communicating with the firm’s paralegal, patent agent, and attorney teams
• Drafting patent correspondence such as Information Disclosure Statements, Preliminary Amendments, Certificates of Correction, and other Patent Office documents and/or Petitions
• Proofreading issued patents for accuracy
• Reviewing and processing incoming mail
• Communicating with clients’ administrative teams
• Interfacing with foreign counsel regarding foreign patent filings
• Providing administrative support to attorneys and patent agents as necessary

Qualifications: 

• 4 years of foreign patent experience 
• Patent Experience 
• College degree is highly preferred 
• Experience and proficiency with microsoft office applications is required
