Overview:What you will have an opportunity to do:
The Groups Rooms Coordinator is to act as a mediator between the Front Office, Sales and Conference Planning in regard to all group bookings and conventions. Represent the Reservations Department when dealing with the client for rooming lists, retrieving reports and hotel inquiries. This position works closely with the Director of Rooms, Rooms Operations Manager and Reservation Manager.
Group Rooms Coordinator plays an integral role in ensuring that each of our groups are correctly booked with guest rooms. This position is responsible for positive interactions with the group contact in a friendly and efficient manner. They must also be knowledgeable of the HOST computer system with inputting reservations and making changes when changes are needed to be done with guest rooms. At all times, the Group Rooms Coordinator is expected to be attentive to our Guests' needs, making them feel comfortable, important and that all of their reservation needs will be taken care of.

Indoor office setting with a desk, file cabinets, computers, and telephones and with brightly lit florescent overhead lights. Comfortable ventilation with little circulation of air.
Qualifications:What are we looking for?
The right person will show reservation skills, must be passionate about customer service and should thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will also have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working in Reservations or Front Office of a Hotel. This person will also be well organized and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
