Three Fifteen is an upscale dining establishment renowned for its exquisite culinary creations, exceptional service, and sophisticated ambiance. We take pride in delivering an unparalleled dining experience, and our team plays a crucial role in upholding these standards. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to start a paid internship with our dynamic kitchen team. You will learn expert culinary terminology and cooking techniques along side fine dining service etiquette.
Responsibilities:
-Coordination with Kitchen Staff: Work closely with the Chef, cooks, and other kitchen team members to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of dishes according to the establishments standards.
-Quality Control: Inspect each dish for quality, presentation, and adherence to recipe specifications before it is sent to the dining area. Address any issues with the kitchen staff promptly. 
-Order Management: Manage the flow of orders from the kitchen to serving staff, ensuring that each table receives their dishes simultaneously and in perfect condition.
-Communication: Act as a. liaison between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, facilitating clear and effective communication to enhance overall efficiency.
-Timing: Monitor and manage the timing of each course to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests, coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to avoid delays.
-Plate Presentation: Ensure that each plate is artfully presented, paying attention to details such as portion size, garnish placement, and overall aesthetics.
-Adaptability: Be adaptable and able to handle high-pressure situations, maintaining composure during busy periods and effectively managing unforeseen challenges.
-Attentive: Able to focus on work duties and only use Cell Phone or other electronic devices during given break periods.
-Team Player: You will be trained and working alongside the Chef to understand every menu item and its preferred plating presentation. You will be assigned prep work and learn the ins and outs of the culinary arts.
