We currently have multiple HVAC Engineer and HVAC Design positions to fill in support of our customer. This work is designing the repurposing of the Mixed Oxide Fuel (MOX) facility to the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF). We are seeking HVAC engineers with various levels of experience. We encourage early career professionals to senior-level subject matter experts to apply. We want a diverse team to support this endeavor. 

Responsibilities

• Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
• Conduct construction document reviews as required. 
• Plan, organize, and coordinate mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup. 
• Demonstrate design experience in the area of nuclear industry HVAC design work and design related codes and standards. 
• Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications. 
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required. 

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering. 

Preferred Qualifications

• 15 years’ experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering in the nuclear field. 
• Professional Engineer License.

LOCATION 

Greenville, SC. A hybrid work environment will be considered; One week onsite, three weeks remote. However, onsite candidates are preferred
