SPECTRAFORCE is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician Near Plano, TX
Location: 8277 Belleview Drive, Plano, Texas 75024
Duration: 3 months
Work schedule: Mon 7:30 AM-5:00 PM | Tue-Thurs 8:30 AM-5:00 PM | Fri 8:30 AM-4:00 PMUnder the direct supervision of the Operations Manager and Pharmacist, the pharmacy technician will fulfill prescription drug orders in a fully automated Central Fill Pharmacy environment.
Role And Responsibilities
- Support pharmacist in patient care through order fulfillment, completion and delivery of the final product to the patient, and follow-up with
- Utilize proper recordkeeping in appropriate systems as related to patient interactions, inventory management, prescription processing, delivery
- Accurately completes prescription data entry, filling, packaging, and logistics steps
- Complies with established procedures, rules, and regulations
- Complies with all Texas State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations
- Complies with customer service expectations as applicable to the department
- Promoting teamwork, professional services, and clear communication
- Understand confidentiality for patient/client care; comply with all federal and state laws applicable to the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and electronic protected health information (EPHI); and follow HIPAA guidelines regarding readily identifiable protected health information

- Does the candidate need to have any specific certifications? Yes, valid Pharmacy Tech or Tech in Training License
- Does the candidate need to be licensed in a specific state? Yes, Texas
- Prior experience working in a Central Fill facility is desired but not required. Inventory Management experience, prior leadership experience (Team Lead), Experience with automation equipment Parata PASS, Excel experience desired
