Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our rehab team in San Antonio, TX, for a 13-week contract position. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing rehabilitative care to patients and helping them regain mobility and function.
Requirements:
1 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
PT state license/certification for Texas
COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required, including booster. Medical/Religious exemptions and declinations allowed.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, mobility, and function
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Provide patient and family education on injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
