Job Summary: As the Director of Emergency Services, you'll oversee operations to ensure high-quality patient care. Lead service development, personnel management, and resource allocation to deliver excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Identify and solve real/potential problems affecting service
Participate in hospital committees, providing ongoing communication
Advance patient experience agenda in the Emergency Department
Coach and mentor subordinates, ensuring individual development
Enforce standards of emergency department care and ensure compliance
Develop, implement, and evaluate ongoing emergency services program
Monitor compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards
Ensure department's operational excellence and quality services delivery
Support recruitment process to secure staffing talent
Qualifications:
🎓 Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree preferred
💼 3 years of experience in emergency services and leadership role
📝 Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Florida
🏥 ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and BLS certifications required
