Job Summary and Benefits:

• 🏥 Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide comprehensive nursing care including observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for critically ill patients in the CVICU.
  2. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  3. Monitor patients' vital signs, EKG rhythms, hemodynamics, and manage ventilators and IABP as needed.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and promote wellness.
  5. Participate in health teaching, counseling, and promotion of preventive care strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 🩺 Minimum 5 years of previous acute care RN experience in critical care settings, with recent CVICU experience and CCRN certification required.
• 📜 Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• 📝 Current Florida State RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 🏥 Proficiency in EKG rhythm interpretation, hemodynamics monitoring, ventilator management, and IABP.
