Interventional Radiology/Neuro Special Procedures Technologist

Our Cardiovascular Lab is looking for at top notch Special Procedures Tech to join our team!Is that you?
Looking for an opportunity to be a part of a procedural area?We are looking for a unique Neuro Special Procedures Technologist wanting to work in our Neuro Special Procedures area.This unit offers cross training, educational opportunities, and a wide variety of benefits!
LOCATION :Texas Health Plano is located at 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093
SCHEDULE : FT, 40 Hours; 10 hour shifts, 6:30am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday with rotating days off; On call required (Must live within 30 minutes of Texas Health Plano)
Neuro Special Procedures Department highlights
•Newly build Hybrid Neuro room with expansion of second room this year
•Comprehensive Stroke Certification
•Ability to cross train within Heart & Vascular
The Ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
EDUCATION:
  • One year of Interventional Radiology/Neuro experience preferred
  • Two years of experience required with High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE:
  • One year of Interventional Radiology/Neuro experience preferred
  • Two years of experience required with High School Diploma
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire required OR
  • RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist upon hire required OR
  • RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist upon hire required AND
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT upon hire required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required
