Edge Electric is Hiring an Electrical Project Manager Near Austin, TX

Thank you for considering a position with us! We are Edge Electric and Stryker Electric, a group of leading electrical contractors in Texas and Florida. We value safety and quality in everything we do and are seeking Project Managers who take pride in their work. Project Managers at Edge will be responsible for all financial reporting on a project as well as tracking and projecting all labor, material, job expenses, and changes. This individual will also oversee monthly financial projections, and the creation of a job-specific schedule of values that maintains positive cash flow, and will create, submit, and manage all submittals throughout the entire project. This position requires the successful candidate to possess strong organizational, negotiation, financial, and communication skills.

Our roles are full-time and we have immediate availability in the Austin area. The salary for the Project Manager role starts at $70,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Please call (737) 305-8998 or apply below.

Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, review bid documents and specifications for accuracy/discrepancies
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the foreman
  • Provide coaching/counseling to the foreman
  • Work closely with the client Superintendent and Project Manager
  • Resolve client concerns
  • Create and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Manage submittals, RFI's, drawings, correspondence, change orders
  • Conduct post-mortem project reviews to determine areas for future improvement
Electrical Project Manager Qualifications:
  • 5 years' experience in the commercial electrical industry
  • Extensive understanding of electrical systems and installation
  • Ability to read plans
  • Experience with tenant finish-outs and some ground-up experience
  • Working knowledge and experience in Procore, Outlook, and submittals are preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
  • Familiarity with Procore is desirable but not required
  • English / Spanish bilingual is desirable but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
