This is a Hybrid role, 2 days in office, 3 from home and will have 3 direct reports. The Manager of Internal Audit will be responsible for the supervision of internal audit team to ensure transactions are recoded and operations are conducted in accordance with guidelines and adhere to Sarbanes Oxley. This is a publicly traded building products manufacturer with over $2 billion in sales , 35 plants located within the United States.Other responsibilities include reviewing and approving internal audit papers, prepare annual internal audit plan, evaluate accounting and other internal control systems to determine efficiency and accuracy, communicating internal control evaluations to senior management. This role will conduct special projects such as fraud detection strategies and prevention.The hiring manager is looking for 5-10 years of experience supporting internal audit within a manufacturing accounting environment. A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance with extra credentialing such as a CPA or CIA required. The qualified candidate will have good ERP system experience along with well-developed skills in Excel. Occasional travel may be required, expectation 10-15% annually.The salary range is $110,000125,000 per year 15% bonus.
