Teresian House is looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to serve in our Housekeeping Department. Shift available are 8a-4p weekdays and 3p-11p weekdays, both shifts require a weekend rotation. The perfect candidates will be able to follow instructions or directions both in writing and verbal, and will be reliable and compassionate. Some environmental services experience is preferred. You must know how to use environmental services equipment such as hand tools, chemical cleaning, floor maintenance materials and powered equipment. You must be familiar with standard procedures used during the execution of assigned duties and cleaning of an isolation or biologically hazardous area.
Some of the tasks include dusting and damp mopping rooms, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, baseboards, utility rooms, laundry rooms, and corridors. You will be responsible for the proper use, care, maintenance, and storage of environmental services equipment, tools and materials used.
