Tennova Knoxville Physician RMC - North Knoxville Medical Center is Hiring a Facility Compliance Officer - Tennova Medical Group, Full Time Near Knoxville, TN

1.Monitor and support the implementation of the Corporate Compliance Program for the Facility Compliance Officer's individual facility and all affiliated business entities.
2.Personally present compliance training at facility new hire orientation.
3.Establish an annual compliance plan in conjunction with Corporate Compliance for the organization and affiliated business units delineating areas identified for auditing and ongoing monitoring.
4.Review and coordinate distribution, communication and implementation of new corporate compliance policies and procedures.Recommend additional policies and/or policy language, as necessary.
5.Promote an environment with which employees are free to report instances of non-compliance confidentially and without fear of retribution.
6.Organize and chair the Facility Compliance Committee ("FCC"):
a.Hold regular FCC meetings.Ensure adherence to the corporate standard agendas for each meeting of the FCC.
b.Prepare and report minutes of the FCC meetings to the FCC and Corporate Compliance
c.Add agenda elements as needed at the facility level to ensure adequate and appropriate coverage of facility specific compliance issues or concerns.
d.Collaborate with department directors to improve identification of compliance variances.
7.Facilitate the annual Corporate Compliance auditing and monitoring plans to determine compliance with established laws, regulations, company policies, and managerial guidelines.Report all results to the Facility Compliance Committee and immediately notify the CCD of adverse outcomes.
8.Collaborate with Human Resources and all Department Directors to ensure all relevant staff complete new hire and annual compliance and privacy training and all training is appropriately documented.
9.Implement and monitor a program for conducting eligibility screening (SanctionCheck) of all relevant persons as identified in Compliance Manual policies; coordinate with Human Resources, Medical Staff Development, and Contract Administration to ensure complete assessment of all required parties.
10.Communicate immediately with the assigned Corporate Compliance Director(s) or Corporate Compliance upon learning of a matter of potential concern or upon receiving an allegation of non-compliance.
11.Enter all reported incidents of known or suspected non-compliance into the Compliance 360 incident module.Maintain timely and thorough documentation and status updates in the system to ensure complete documentation of all reported concerns.
12.Work with the Corporate Compliance to investigate reports of alleged non-compliance to final resolution.
13.Interact regularly with and report to Corporate Compliance regarding the organization's compliance-related activities, including training, auditing, disciplinary actions, and corrective actions taken in response to reports of alleged non-compliance.
14.Assist in the development and implementation of corrective action plans when areas of non-compliance are identified.
15.Perform other duties as assigned.
