The Manager of Practice Management (PM) will oversee all day-to-day operations of the clinic and shall consult with the Director of Physician Practices prior to implementing critical changes in operational procedures. PM must promote good public relations for the department and Tennova Healthcare while maintaining patient/customer confidentiality. Diligently monitors daily workflow and is alert to opportunities to improve efficiency and minimize costs. Regularly monitors and audits staff performance; supports physicians; coaches team; encourages professional development and growth among the team. PM has knowledge of financial goals; maintains/exceeds key indicator goals. PM works with other clinics, the hospital, the corporate office (PPSI, Athena, HIM, etc.) and vendors as the point-person for the clinic, along with the Director of Physician Practices.

Education / Licensure / Certification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Degree in Healthcare or Business or equivalent experience
• Advanced certification in a health-related field

Experience / Skills:

• Office Manager experience in a physician practice
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working in a physician office
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a physician office or hospital
  • Skilled in physician office patient registration, billing and coding
  • Must possess basic computer skills (email, internet, Excel, Word)
  • Office Manager or Supervisor experience
• Electronic Medical Record experience
• Must be able to read, comprehend and communicate on a professional level
• Attention to detail and concentration
• Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment
