Selby Jennings has partnered with a leading Asset Management team looking to bring a Data Quality Analyst to their team.

The Data Quality Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced statistical analysis to scrutinize and enhance the quality of large datasets across multiple asset classes.
• Design and deploy innovative systems and algorithms to detect and correct data quality issues, leveraging statistical models and data science methodologies.
• Utilize Python, SQL, and other analytical tools for in-depth data validation and analysis, applying statistical techniques where appropriate.
• Develop, maintain, and refine scalable solutions and detailed documentation to support data governance and empower data owners.

The Data Quality Analyst will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field with a strong emphasis on statistical analysis.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a data quality, data science, or statistical analysis role, preferably within the financial sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling.
• Proficient in data analysis and manipulation using Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn), SQL, and familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Experience with quality control processes and a keen eye for identifying, managing, and resolving complex data quality issues.
• Prior experience with financial data sources such as Refinitiv, Bloomberg, and FactSet is highly desirable, along with an understanding of financial markets and instruments.
