FUNCTION:
The Summer Customer Support Representative is part of the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet's Admissions & Operations team. This seasonal position works in support of the daily operations for the school during the 2024 5-Week Summer Ballet Program, primarily in our Barn studio location. The CSR is often the first point of contact and privy to confidential information. As such, this position requires a customer service-oriented approach, strong communication skills and complete discretion in the handling of confidential information.
DATES OF POSITION:
CPYB is hiring for two positions.
Shifts beginning Monday, June 17 – Saturday, July 20. Training shifts prior to June 17 to be determined, based on availability and date of hire.
Monday – Friday Shift 1 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Monday – Friday Shift 2 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Saturdays 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM rotated weekly between two staff
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide UNBELIEVABLE customer support to students, families, teachers, vendors, staff and guests. Common items to assist with include:
Answer and direct telephone calls accordingly.
Greet and screen persons entering any of the organization’s facilities following all safety and security protocols
Utilize School Management System (SMS) top assist with documenting student enrollments and class/level schedule changes
Serve as facility lead response team member as part of emergency preparedness efforts (when on duty), in conjunction with CPYB Security Team or local authorities.
Maintain facility opening procedures and/or secure facility for evening closure.
Maintain overall supervision of the students in the building – including the waiting room, studios, outside yard, or trailer – in conjunction with the CPYB Security Team.
Assist student’s navigating the site to find studios, restrooms, etc.
Provide general support to on-site teachers when requested.
Project and maintain a positive, professional image of the organization at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of CPYB’s mission.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified applicants for our Customer Service Representative opportunity will possess a High School Diploma; Associate’s Degree in business or related field a plus. Additionally, candidates should possess:
