About the Job
The Operations Excellence Consultant will be an integral part of the Asset Lifecycle Solutions team and will ensure facilities are designed and maintained in such a way as to improve the ultimate Operability, Reliability and Maintainability (ORM) during production operations.
The Operations Excellence Consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Develop Reliability, Maintainability, and overall Asset Management Strategies and implementation plans during Concept development, Front End Engineering, Detailed Engineering, and Operations phases of projects
  • Develop Reliability and Maintenance KPI's and analyze effectiveness of KPI's
  • Conduct FMEA to determine condition monitoring and predictive and preventive maintenance programs
  • Work with Client Operations and Maintenance teams to strategize and develop enterprise-wide Condition-based Monitoring (CBM) and Predictive maintenance (PdM) strategies for critical equipment classes
  • Lead or participate in Equipment Criticality Assessments, Critical Spares Analyses, and Root Cause Analyses
  • Lead or participate in implementing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system and facilitate handover to Clients for use
  • Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating equipment reliability and design improvement to meet its intended or existing service conditions
  • Assist clients to Optimize their facilities maintenance with focus on attaining compliance targets for all Safety Critical Equipment
Provides technical support to maintenance team with troubleshooting and root cause analysis using tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

About You
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience which preferably includes at least 3 years "hands-on" operations/maintenance experience.
  • B.Sc. or equivalent degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the energy sector - oil & gas (upstream, downstream) and renewable energy
  • Knowledge & understanding of the standards related to Asset Management and reliability & maintenance data for equipment, such as the ISO 55000 Series & ISO 14224, and their application in industry
  • Experience on set up and management of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS, Maximo, etc.)
  • Thorough grasp of principles and application of Maintenance / Asset Management techniques such as RCM, CBM, RBM and FMECA.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and intercultural skills
  • Strong HSE focus and familiarity with HSE regulations
  • Ability to manage relationships to a range of stakeholders within operations and projects
