THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the Chief Architect, the Architect will be responsible for the overall architecture as well as the architecture of all content and data repositories that interface with the Platform. Working closely with the engineers in the software development team, you will assist with the development of the Technology Roadmap for the TechInsights Platform ensuring the Platform evolves and delivers the overall business strategy and achieves the goal of having 100k Active Users on the Platform by 2023. You bring a natural ability to ask the right questions, quickly understand the current architecture and strategic priorities, and assist in communicating the vision to the broader audience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Take ownership of assigned components of the TechInsights Platform
• Develop architectures that yield “right-sized” scalability, flexibility, and performance
• Communicate developed architectures to the Engineers to enable them to clearly articulate requirements for the software development team
• Work closely with the content creation teams to understand their workflow and identify opportunities for automation, toolsets, data design and other improvements
• Evaluate existing solutions that support the intent, market value and strategic value of new areas of functionality; coordinate with Engineering team to assess build/buy/partner decisions
• Develop and maintain the Platform technology roadmap
• Clearly define role, scope and interfaces for all major components

WHAT YOU BRING

• Post-secondary education in Business Management, Computer or Data Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• A bias for action and iteration
• Proven ability to act as the lead voice in technical project teams, evaluate performance, and manage conflicts
• Skill in interacting across teams
• Strong critical thinking skills including the ability to recognize underlying issues and implications of decisions or courses of action
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to set and manage commitments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
