Job Title: Senior Deployment Engineer
Location: Herndon, Virginia

Job Summary:
They are looking for Senior Deployment Engineers to perform Site Surveys, Installations and Testing at CONUS and OCONUS Air Force sites. There are five Deployment teams for the program, and the Senior Deployment Engineers will be the Team Leads. This position requires extensive travel and a valid US Passport.

Job Responsibilities:
Extensive Travel (CONUS and OCONUS).
Flexibility working with team members in different time zones.
Supports site teleconferences, readiness reviews, site assessments.
Develops implementation documentation and drawings.
Installs server rack, mount equipment, dress and label cables.
Provides In-Brief, Out-Brief and informal training to site customer.
Installs, configures and tests Dell, EMC and VMWare product solutions.
Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently and independently as required.
Capable of troubleshooting storage, networking and virtual environments as needed.
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications including MS VISIO for generating documentation.
Provides various reporting information to corporate and customer as requested.
Must be able to work in military structured environment.
Creates Site Survey Reports, Telecommunications System Installation Plans, As-builts, and Test Reports.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of eight (8) years experience in an operational environment supporting Dell, EMC Unity and VMWare, or similar solutions.
Minimum HS or equivalent required.
Experience with customer interfacing, training, site surveys and managing customer needs.
Experience with leading projects to successful completion.
Must have either Dell/EMC OEM certification or 2 years of experience deploying similar type systems.
Active Secret Clearance.
Valid US passport required.
75% Travel

Desired Qualifications:
DoD/USAF experience a plus.
Knowledge of USAF IT technical standards and processes a plus.
VMware VCP certification is a plus.
CompTIA Security
VMware VCP certification.
