Teasdale Latin Foods is Hiring a Production Operator II - 2nd Shift Near Buda, TX
- 2nd Shift, 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM
- Pay starting at $ 15.77-$19.62
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas
- Inspect food products and follow (FIFO) first-in, first-out rotation of ingredients
- Measure and weigh ingredients
- Record operational or production data
- Operate pumping systems
- Follow work orders and instructions on recipe cards
- Operate roasters, choppers, and other food processing equipment
- Use of handheld scan gun to issue material to jobs, and move inventory in DEACOM
- Assist Kettle Cooks when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Monitor capping operation to maintain adequate lid levels and lid torque. Make all necessary adjustments to maintain a non-stop capping operation.
- Monitor filler operation to ensure correct fill weight and make necessary adjustments
- Monitor and record fill temperatures at each batch's beginning, middle, and end.
- Fill out daily documentation and turn in daily
- Change out guides and adjust rails when necessary after a glass change
- Rinse out filler, grease plugs, and pistons after a recipe change when needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50-65 pounds up to four feet high without assistance.
- Required to bend, stoop, pull, and push in performance of job duties.
