Job Description
Teachwell Solutions has a great opportunity for a South Dakota-licensed School Social Worker to join our team beginning in August.
This position is a new role to fill a growing need for services to students with a variety of social concerns that affect their abilitiy to be successful in school. The person hired will work to link students and their famiies with resources to address mental health needs, housing and food insecurity concerns, among others. The School Social Worker will also provide direct counseling services to students.
This position requires current certification or completion of an advanced degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and intent to sit for CWSE certification. Experience working as a School Social Worker is preferred. Other experience working with school-aged youth with behavioral issues is a plus.
The person selected for this position must be able to complete a fingerprint-based background check and provide verification of eligibility to work in the U.S.
