My client is a leading commercial general contractor specializing in diverse ground up projects including Commercial, K-12 education, Municipal, Office, Retail, Healthcare, and Light industrial developments. With a commitment to quality, safety, and innovation, we deliver exceptional construction solutions that exceed client expectations.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Dallas/Fort Worth. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate issues.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control measures, and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, financial forecasts, and other key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners to facilitate repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with recent experience working for a Dallas-based commercial contractor.
  • Ground up, Commercial projects, Project values 5 million - 30 million.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with a focus on commercial, K-12, municipal, office, retail, healthcare, and light industrial sectors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PMP or CM certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites within the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
