Saint Xavier University invites expressions of interest for part-time adjunct faculty teaching opportunities for the Psychology Department's B.S. and B.A. degree programs for the upcoming Academic Year. Part-time teaching positions are available throughout the academic year, including summer sessions (May through July). Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted by the department chair for an interview. Courses are not guaranteed; however, the Department will give timely notice about available courses and potential course rescheduling, cancellations, etc.

The Psychology Department reliably needs a mixture of online course instructors and on-campus course instructors to teach one or more of the following courses: Introduction to Psychology, Lifespan Development, Child Development, Adolescent Development, Abnormal Psychology, Personality Theories, Human Motivation, Behavior Management, Children with Exceptionalities, Health Psychology, and occasionally other courses.

The successful candidate must have a MA/MS or equivalent degree in Psychology from an accredited university. An earned PhD is preferred. Highly sought-after candidates will have evidence of experience teaching at the collegiate level. Experience at teaching one or more of the courses listed above is preferred.
