B&B Concrete is Hiring a Small Engine Mechanic Near Phoenix, AZ

Field Mechanic
General Description:
The mechanic will have experience working on equipment related to placing and finishing concrete. Such as concrete pumps, trowel machines, paving machines, early entry saw and vacuums. As well as working on other equipment like Bobcats, Light towers and generators.
Responsibilities:

Can independently perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment
Repair and replace equipment worn parts
Inspects machines, heavy equipment and diagnose defects.
Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper
performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.

Requirements:

2-5 years Mechanic Experience working on construction machinery
Must possess a valid Driver's License
Has the proper tools to work on the equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

Highly organized
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail
The ability to track maintenance and repairs
The ability to track company owned equipment and assets

Working Conditions:

Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten (10) hours per day.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to work outside in different weather conditions
Able to work on the Jobsite where the equipment is used
