Tatamy Borough Public Works, Crew Member
Tatamy is a small borough with approximately 1,200 residents seeking a motivated individual to join our Public Works Team as a part-time crewmember.
~32-35 hrs. / week; Salary negotiable between $21.00 - $23.50 commensurate with experience. Paid Holidays are included.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Road Maintenance
Building and Property Maintenance
Yard and Park Maintenance (e.g. mowing / trimming / etc.)
Seasonal Leaf Clean-up
Snow Removal
Welding
Heavy equipment operation (e.g. skid steer / backhoe / etc.)
Mechanically maintain and repair truck, equipment, small gasoline engines
Concrete work / Storm Basin Rebuild
Paving experience
Qualified candidates should have experience in public works, relevant trades, or similar background including basic experience operating heavy machinery such as skid steers, loaders, and dump trucks. Basic knowledge of road construction, road maintenance, and storm water systems. Welding and building maintenance experience preferred.
