Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager with expertise in NetSuite and QuickBooks Online to oversee our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both retail and wholesale e-commerce industries, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and counsel.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end close process.
• Maintain a strong control environment and implement best practices in financial processes and systems.
• Oversee the integration and efficient use of NetSuite and QuickBooks Online software for financial management.
• Prepare detailed budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with the executive team.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies.
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audit processes.
• Provide training and support to accounting staff, ensuring the professional development and efficiency of the team.
• Monitor the financial performance of the company, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Handle retail and wholesale e-commerce accounting specifics, including revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and payment gateway reconciliation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in retail and wholesale e-commerce environments.
• Expertise in NetSuite and QuickBooks Online is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven leadership ability, managing and developing an accounting team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
