Role Overview

As a software developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of products related to cranial and spinal technologies.

A key focus of this role will be on ensuring the quality and reliability of these products through comprehensive unit testing. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining unit tests that adhere to FDA standards and procedures. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to feature creation and enhancement, working closely with other developers and architects in the team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive unit tests for products related to cranial and spinal technologies, ensuring they meet FDA standards and procedures
• Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement in unit test coverage and effectiveness
• Support the feature creation and enhancement process by providing high-quality, reliable unit tests
• Work closely with other developers and architects to integrate unit testing into the development process and ensure its effectiveness
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in unit testing, incorporating them into the development process
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on unit test coverage and effectiveness

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in C
• Proficiency in React/redux
• Strong soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and problem-solving
• Experience working with unit tests, preferably in a regulated industry such as medical devices

Interview Expectations:

1. 20-minute initial screening call with Brooksource recruiter

3. Technical screening with hiring manager and member of developer staff
