The Growler in Danville, CA is looking for one bartender to join our team on the weekends, with the expectation that they will become a key holder on these nights. We are located on 515 San Ramon Valley Blvd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, integrous, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Knowledge of a Spanish language will be considered a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• ABC alcohol server cert, food handlers

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.

About The Growler: We have a full food menu with lots to choose from, as well as 20 taps of local and international craft beers and 4 taps of specialty wine. We also have an extensive craft beer bottle and can list available for in house or to go consumption.
