Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager 9563Job Description: Pivotal role in organization’s day-to-day accounting functions. This position will also provide support to the accounting department as well as the organization. Additionally, serves as a resource for implementing and supporting major goals and objectives.

- Maintain control schedule of jurisdictional reporting and licensing
- Reconcile sales tax liability and remit sales tax payments
- Collect and maintain sales tax certificates from customers
- Ensure taxable customers are invoiced properly
- Post month-end journal entries
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Assist with monthly AIA billing
- Assist with month-end close
- Assist with financial audits with external auditors
- Manage and oversee customer collections
- Reconcile inventory balances
- Financial and Ad-hoc reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Manage of up to 5 accounting staff members
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field. CPA designation preferred.
- Experience with Percentage of Completion revenue recognition preferred
- Relevant experience in accounting and finance roles
- Highly detail oriented
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
