As a Labeling and Shipping Clerk you will be part of a team that's dedicated to ensuring medications are received on time, every time. A labeling and shipping clerk will work and thrive in our high-paced production environment, where your motivation and dedication will be key to maintaining manufacturing workflow and meeting shipping deadlines. A labeling and shipping clerk plays a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the medications they need when they need them, making a direct impact on their lives and well-being. A labeling and shipping clerk is responsible for labeling and ensuring the accuracy of the data for the labels and timely shipments are completed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Labels products in compliance with master batch records while adhering to department specific SOPs.
• Operates all equipment associated with labeling processes.
• Processes and prepares orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepares shipping labels and packaging to ensure correct delivery to customers.
• Investigates wrongly delivered and lost packages.
• Verifies addresses using FedEx Ship Manager software suite.
• Performs quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilizes the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery.
• Ensures the shipping area is always clean and organized.
• Monitors inventory levels of shipping supplies and communicates any shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Methodically prepares work area and supplies prior to operation and maintains a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift.
• Performs ancillary tasks and duties that support the manufacturing process such as, but not limited to material preparation, label printing, inventory accounting, organization of components, and various LEAN manufacturing tasks.
• Completes special projects assigned by supervisor.

Our ideal candidate:

A high school diploma or equivalent, required, will have previous experience with Logistics/shipping and labeling highly preferred. Proven expert level of data entry skills and highly detail oriented and self-motivated. Strong Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Communicate and collaborate effectively with a team to achieve goals around safety, quality, and delivery. Maintains a positive attitude with a strong work ethic and high level of professionalism. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time for consecutive days and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must pass a criminal Background check.

Hours and Location:

1st Shift M-F 7am-4pm

2nd Shift M-F 12pm-9pm
