Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master to join our Capital Markets team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating Agile development teams in the delivery of high-quality software solutions for our Capital Markets clients. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of Agile practices and principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile development teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Guide and mentor team members on Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Remove any impediments or blockers that may hinder the team's progress, enabling a smooth and efficient development process.
  • Monitor and track team progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging open communication and effective collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in Capital Markets, incorporating relevant knowledge into team processes and practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in the Capital Markets industry, with a strong understanding of financial products and services.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience implementing Agile practices in a software development environment.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on finding practical solutions and promoting team cohesion.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as JIRA or Rally is preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks in the Capital Markets industry is a plus.
