CLTRising is Hiring a Math Tutor Near Charlotte, NC

CLTRising Math Tutor

Seeking an experienced high school & test prep math tutor to work with students in 1-1 sessions starting in July 2024 throughout the spring semester and summer (July 2024 - August 2025) in the non-school hours. Prefer a candidate who would like to work with CLTRising for 2 years.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education and/or math-related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience teaching/tutoring high school math
  • Minimum 1 year experience tutoring SAT/ACT math & test-taking strategies

Characteristics:

- Able to effectively and confidently teach high school math skills & SAT strategies
- Passionate about meeting students where they are at and striving to help them grow
- Good communication skills
- Able to build rapport with students and parents
- Reliable
- Adaptable

Hours per week:

  • Less than 10 (potential for additional hours)
