Sustainable Talent is Hiring a System Administrator Near Santa Clara, CA

Sustainable Talent is searching for a System Administrator to support our client's Performance Lab Operations team. This role will be supporting our client NVIDIA.
This is a W-2 full-time contract based on-site in Santa Clara, CA. Pay rate is between $40 - $50/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!
What you will be doing:
  • Perform the setup and maintenance of all hardware systems and supporting infrastructure.
  • Identify and debug machine-level issues on a variety of different platforms.
  • Document your efforts, tasks, and activities (Jira) and assist in the creation and maintenance of all technical documentation.
  • Build, automate, configure, deploy, and secure Linux servers globally.
  • Provide reports with detailed analysis to highlight improvement areas and help increase lab equipment's stability and efficiency.
What we need to see:
  • At least 2 years of experience in an IT-related position that includes working closely with computer hardware.
  • A proven foundation of knowledge in server systems and networking infrastructure.
  • Linux operating systems and computer security concepts and practices, computer network hardware/software protocols and principles.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Available nights and weekends if needed.
  • You have expertise working with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Very familiar with networking principles and hardware infrastructure.
  • Experience with low-level system configurations (BIOS, PXE, CLI).
  • You are passionate about problem-solving and using methodical workflow to resolve hardware issues.
