We focus on creating a fresh-take on Japanese cuisine and serving patrons with a friendly smile and relaxed environment. Since 2015, we have been serving Vallejo and the greater California Bay Area and are actively expanding.

Job Summary: As a FOH Crew Member for Sushi Obsession, you will be responsible for welcoming and fostering a positive dining experience for patrons. You will also work to ensure efficiency through teamwork and clear communication with fellow FOH crew members. By maintaining efficiency, you will work closely with other FOH crew members by coordinating taking, bagging, and serving orders as well as crafting our signature boba drinks.

FOH Crew Member Responsibilities

• Greet guests, operate the cash register and point of sales systems and take meal orders in an efficient manner with knowledge of the menu.
• Gain an understanding of the ingredients, preparation and unique elements of the Asian Box menus.
• Handle cash, answer questions, and work efficiently as a team member in a fast paced workspace.
• Be flexible and able to multitask while smiling. Hand-off food to guests and be responsive to questions about our brand.

Skills

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive; always looking for the next task and willing to learn fast.
• Takes initiative and can work independently and with a team.
• Friendly personality; customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a server, waitress or waiter and or cook.
• Experience with cashiering and money handling.
• (Recommended) Knowledgeable in sushi.
• (Recommended) Bilingual.
• Must have reliable transportations.
