ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Schedule Inbound and outbound appointments
- Verify BOLs versus ERP/WMS transactions.
- Document OSD on inbounds. Obtain RMAs if applicable.
- Verify that the goods are intact and report any defects.
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- File and upload documents into the ERP/WMS system.
- Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment and workstations.
- Maintaining clean shipping area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Other Duties as assigned.
- Dock Clerk requires a High School diploma or GED, as well as the ability to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (forklift/pallet jack) and maneuver safely in congested areas within the plant.
- Because of the nature of work environment, candidates will be required to pass a physical exam to ensure vision and physical capabilities, which include lifting and moving over 50 pounds.
- Ability to function effectively as a team leader/lead worker.
- Knowledge of Material facility practices (i.e. receiving, shipping, warehousing, storage, etc.)
