Pay: $46.23 / hour. Flat rate.
Requirements:

• Graduate of nursing program: Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: CNOR certification.
• Preferred: 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provides direct patient care according to nursing and medical plan of care and within scope of practice. Documents plan of care provided. Practices through AORN Standards and Recommended Practices and Guidelines.
• Coordinates and provides patient care as circulator or scrub in the operating room. Handles emergency situations.
• Collaborates with staff on specific patient and surgeon needs for procedures. Works closely with peri-operative team members.
• Involves patient and family or significant others in plan of care, using population-specific criteria. Evaluates quality of care and unit programs. Promotes patient and staff safety.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
