FULL-TIME GREENSMAN OPPORTUNITY AT SUNTREE COUNTRY CLUB

Suntree Country Club is seeking experienced landscapers that will perform the following services mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, irrigation and general lawn detail.

Established in 1975 Suntree Country Club is a private, member-owned country club built exclusively for the enjoyment, relaxation, and fellowship of its members, their families, and guests. The beautifully landscaped estate offers 36 holes of championship golf and a state-of-the-art short-game practice facility. Additionally, members enjoy a 13 court racquets complex that includes pickleball, and a beautiful pool with a poolside bar. Food service is handled through 2 large, multi-function clubhouses, multiple kitchens, bars, private meeting rooms and exercise facilities.

KEY RESPONISIBILITIES

• Safely operates the maintenance equipment.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Golf knowledge.
• Loads and unloads materials.
• Cleans and inspects machinery before and after use.
• Reports mechanical issues to management.
• Maintains the course and its surroundings (grass, trees, plants, bushes, waste, etc.)
• Bunker ranking, utility cart operation, weed trimming, course set-up, keeping the turf clean and free of debris, digging, edging raking, etc.
• Assists with special projects.
• Positive communication skills.
• Team player.
• Attention to detail.
• Pleasant and outgoing personality.
• Able to communicate with a wide variety of people.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:

• Walk and stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; up to 75 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move heavy objects.

• Be exposed to outside weather conditions including temperatures over 90 and below 40 degrees.
• Work near: moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud
