Sunflower Electric Power Corporation, a generation and transmission utility serving Kansans, is seeking two shift supervisors! As a shift supervisor at Sunflower's coal-fired Holcomb Station, located just south of Holcomb, KS, you will help ensure that the 349-megawatt unit continues to operate in a safe, reliable, and efficient way. In addition to supervising the operations you will also have the opportunity to help train, develop, and mentor plant operators and work with talented maintenance personnel. This job offers constant variety and a rotating shift schedule; no day (or night) at Holcomb Station is ever the same!

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and six years of coal power plant operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess all knowledge, skills, and abilities of a coal-fired power plant control room operator.
• Positive interpersonal skills as well as supervisory and leadership abilities.
