Canyon Creek Behavioral Health is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Central Texas town of Temple, Texas. Canyon Creek features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care and intensive outpatient programs. Position Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist primary responsibility will oversee our full-cycle recruiting. The HR Generalist responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. In addition, the Human Resources Generalist will have additional responsibilities. Responsibilities include: conducting New Hire Orientation sessions, preparing new hire/general employee training packets and maintaining them in good supply, back-up to processing personnel actions in HRIS system, maintaining all personnel records and files, maintaining clinical licensed and training documentation, assisting in organizing all employee activities and in-services, knowledge of state and federal employment laws, ability to interrupt policies, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Required: Minimum of two (2) years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships. Experience may be evaluated on case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree. Preferred: Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral health setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Must have a valid driver's license.
