Sun Solar is looking for a qualified IT Support Technician to join our fast-growing team of professionals. Job Duties:
- Resolving IT support requests from employees
- Answering employee questions regarding computer systems
- Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems.
- Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues.
- Generating sign ins for new hires during the onboarding process
- Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed
- Updating employees on the status of their service requests
- Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed
- Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
- Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Support of business systems can be listed: CRM, Office 365, tools, and other 3rd party software.
- AA/AS Degree in appropriate field of study preferred along with 2 years' IT Support experience.
- A Certified is preferred but not required.
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Advanced technical skills and excellent documentation skills.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation.
- Strong time management skills
- Travel time 10% and Sitting 90%
- Able to lift items under 50lbs.
