Applied Resource Group is seeking a Sr. Controls Project Technician, in the Asheville, NC area.

Responsibilities:

Listed below are the key roles and responsibilities:

1. Demonstrated expertise in launching, commissioning, and programming, building automation and control systems for startups.
2. Proficiency and knowledge in various electronic or digital control systems, including the ability to initiate, test, and adjust settings using different software system languages.
3. Responsible for comprehensive device testing, program deployment, equipment startup, and ongoing operations.
4. Handling all customer relation matters, both routine and escalated.
5. Interpretation of control drawings, plans, and operational sequences.
6. Proficient in hardware installation, software programming, troubleshooting, and repair of DDC systems onsite.
7. Ability to engage and advise customers or contractors during site evaluations.
8. Representing the company to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
9. Communication with customers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
10. Independently managing small projects from start to finish.
11. Thorough documentation of work completed, including daily time tracking, project progress details, and database maintenance.
12. Ensuring ongoing customer and contractor satisfaction to support company growth.
13. Leading onsite project initiatives and serving as the primary technician for assigned projects.
14. Assisting in supervising subcontractor installation labor to maintain quality standards and project schedules.
15. Willingness to engage in company training and self-study to enhance technical proficiency.
16. Adhering to all company safety policies.
17. Undertaking other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Successful candidate(s) must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in controls field operations. Programming proficiency should include, but is not limited to, platforms such as Niagara, Johnson Controls, Tridium, N4, Trane, and Honeywell Building Management Systems. Additionally, candidates must pass a background check.
