Position Overview
As a Senior Electrical Engineer and an advanced circuit design specialist, you will be an integral part of our Research and Development (R&D) team. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing complex electronic circuits and systems that form the core of our innovative products. This role requires a deep understanding of electronic theory, proficiency in the latest circuit design tools, and the ability to deliver practical solutions that align with our product objectives and performance goals.
Responsibilities
  • Circuit Design: Develop innovative and efficient circuit architectures for electronic devices, ensuring optimal performance, power efficiency, and manufacturability.
  • Simulation and Analysis: Use industry-standard software tools (such as SPICE) to simulate, model, and analyze the behavior of circuits under different conditions and evaluate performance metrics.
  • PCB Layout: Collaborate with PCB designers to create layouts that optimize signal integrity, minimize interference, and facilitate ease of manufacturing and assembly.
  • Component Selection: Identify and select appropriate components, including semiconductors, passive components, and ICs, based on performance requirements, cost considerations, and availability.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Provide the technical leadership to the engineering team to build and test circuit prototypes, iteratively refining designs to meet desired specifications and quality standards.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in circuit design and propose innovative solutions to enhance product performance and capabilities.
  • Collaborative Environment: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers, mechanical engineers, optical engineers, and product managers, to integrate circuits seamlessly into the overall product design.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of circuit designs, simulation results, and design decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance your expertise in advanced circuit design techniques and tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required, Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience with minimum 8 years in advanced circuit design, preferably in communications systems or products s, IoT devices, or similar products.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard circuit design software and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, Altium Designer, Cadence, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles, semiconductor devices, and signal processing techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience with high voltage circuitry, power management circuits, RF circuitry, high-speed digital circuits, and electro-optics is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of PCB design principles, layout considerations, and design-for-manufacturability (DFM) best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex circuitry, including signal integrity and noise-related issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
