IA DESIGN STUDIO is a boutique Architectural Design firm located in Los Angeles that specializes in high-end custom residential buildings. We have an immediate need for a Designer with knowledge and experience in residential architectural design. We are looking for a candidate to assist with several of our contemporary remodel & ground up homes. Candidate Must have strong CAD, 3D Sketchup and rendering program skills.

DUTIES:

• Research project programming, codes, and or other issues relevant to conceptual & schematic design
• Prepare 3d presentations
• Produce construction documents
• Coordinate with other disciplines and consultants
• Correspond with clients, consultants, and building officials
• Develop and compile project specifications

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 5 or more years professional experience is required.
• A proficient level of experience in the use of AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in producing design and construction document sets
• Possess high level of organization and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task against deadlines
• Self-motivated individual with strong work ethic

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a Bachelor's in Architecture
