2nd or 3rd shift, Industrial Printer Machine Operators (Cherrydale)

(Starting pay past $17/hr shift prem would require proven printing experience). This printing facility is in Greenville not far from Easley, Taylors, or Travelers Rest.

Flexibility with the schedule is a must. Training on 1st shift is required (7am to 3:30pm) and then you will be moved to 2nd or 3rd shift. We have openings on both! NOTE: Shifts can go from 8 to 10 to even 12hrs as needed.

Full training provided. Strict attendance policy - Please only apply if you have reliable transportation and are dependable by nature. Note: You MUST have valid DL, own reliable vehicle, and stable job history to be considered. A drug test and criminal background is required.

• 2nd shift - 3pm to 11:30pm
• 3rd shift - 11pm to 7:30am

Starting pay for 2nd & 3rd shift is $17/hr $1 shift prem $1 raise when brought on permanent ($18 with shift prem to start and advancing to $19 once on perm)

Summary: Machine Operator

Essential Functions:

• Set-up, Operating and Maintenance
• Able to operate machine(s) independently for all types of jobs
• Able to set up basic jobs
• Consistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency
• Able to run 100% mail well for critical clients
• Self-motivated individual who strives to improve and continually achieve better results
• Trouble-shoot equipment
• Provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards
• Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements
• Reconciling/recording for all output
• Accurately use job data capture to track time

Quality

• Strong quality of work
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
• Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output
• Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor
• Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Excellent attendance record and punctuality
• Position requires High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of USPS regulations
• Ability to read and understand job tickets
• Ability to use powered material handling equipment and stack pallets

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment: Production Facility

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes. Responsibilities:
- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper operation
- Monitor machines during production to ensure they are running smoothly
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Inspect finished products for quality control and make adjustments as necessary
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or similar role
- Proficient in using calipers and other measuring tools for precision work
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
- Experience operating CNC machines, lathes, stamping presses, and other industrial equipment
- Ability to use hand tools and fabricate parts as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
