Stoa Group is Hiring a Construction Superintendent - Gulf Coast Near Daphne, AL

Stoa Construction is seeking full-time Superintendents in the Gulf Coast region. The Superintendent will primarily be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of site-specific duties to ensure successful project completion for large ground-up commercial multifamily projects.
This posting is for both Lead and Assistant Superintendent opportunities which will be discussed during the interview process. The locations available will be discussed as well.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation and execution of new multi-family construction projects
  • Ensure project schedules are executed safely with quality at the forefront.
  • Manage project through use of Procore for Drawings, Schedule, RFI's, Daily Log and Observations.
Job Requirements and Key Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in field operations (residential or commercial) to include a knowledge of building code
  • Knowledge of Procore is beneficial
  • Previous experience and knowledge of construction worksite safety practices and procedures
  • Experience and knowledge of OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations and standards
  • Coordinate, assist and communicate with Project Management Team to help the overall success of the project.
  • Ability to plan, organize, review and document a wide range of project activities with follow through and execution.
  • Ability to adapt as needed to meet construction deadlines
  • Ability to make logical decisions through critical thinking
  • Direct field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule and within budget with quality workmanship that conforms to the plans and specifications.
  • The position is often exposed to various weather conditions (especially heat), loud noise, and vibrations
  • The position requires the employee to have reliable transportation
  • Will be situations involving standing, bending, stooping, some climbing or balancing, and carrying
