Stevens Towing Co. Inc. is a midsize freight transportation company based on Yonges Island, Sc just south of Charleston with regional offices in Edenton, Nc, Morehead City, Nc and Savannah, Ga. Stevens Towing Co. was founded in 1913 on Yonges Island and originally engaged in moving produce and passengers from local barrier islands to the Charleston market. Today Stevens engages in Inland, Coastwise and Ocean Towing. We have experienced operators and crew; a fleet of 13 tugs; a fleet of 50+ barges in multiple sizes and configurations; cranes (including two 500 ton floating cranes based in Charl...eston and Savannah); a US Flagged Jones Act ship and a full service shipyard. Stevens Towing regularly services the East, West and Gulf Coasts of the US, including the Western Rivers and Great Lakes, as well as international ports.
