Overview: As a Controller at NAYLOR, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial health by managing and optimizing the finance process for projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure timely collections and resolution of outstanding balances. The Controller will contribute to the overall financial stability of the company through efficient accounts receivable management.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to clients each month.
• Ensure invoices are complete, clear, and compliant with company policies.
• Implement proactive collections strategies to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
• Contact clients via phone, email, or mail to follow up on overdue payments.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, payments, and adjustments.
• Update customer accounts with payment details and communication history.
• Reconcile payments received with outstanding invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
• Process refunds or adjustments as needed and in compliance with company policies.
• Generate regular reports on accounts receivable aging, collections status, and cash flow projections.
• Provide insights and recommendations to executive team based on analysis and reports.

• Work closely with other departments, including sales and customer service, to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve the invoicing and collections process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in accounting or collections, preferred.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in using GCPay, Textura, AIA Billings, and Microsoft Office Suite.
