Job Description

Responsible for managing the supply and demand plans for US to EMEA and EMEA to US supply chains. This role will ensure the execution of orders for multi-directional intercompany support by working with the Demand Planning team to ensure forecasts are correct, working with the Supply Planning and Operations teams to ensure that the schedule, all the way through to shipment, supports a high On-Time Delivery (OTD) and In-Full (OTIF) metric. The successful candidate will also be the primary point of contact and escalation for multi-directional back orders and backlog. The International Supply Chain Manager will coordinate with local plants, planners, their counterparts in EMEA and the broader supply chain team to resolve critical late and back ordered items. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential)
  1. Manage the overall information flow between US and EMEA intercompany orders, demand, forecast and supply.
  2. Coordinate with appropriate stake holders to resolve critical stock outs and late items supplied through intercompany partners.
  3. Manage the communication plan on stock out and late item resolution locally and with foreign intercompany partners.
  4. Serve as the escalation point locally and with intercompany partners on key delivery issues
  5. Proactively measure and resolve issues, driving towards a higher On-Time Delivery metric
  6. Proactively review Past Dues, root cause and work with the broader supply chain team to resolve, resulting in lower past due orders to intercompany partners
  7. Review forecast accuracy weekly and work cross functionally with Sales, Product Management, and demand planning teams to update

Qualifications

  • BS degree in business, supply chain management or other related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of supply chain management experience
  • Experience in one or more of these specific areas: purchasing, master scheduling, demand, or supply chain planning
  • Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple global regions and cross functional stakeholders
  • Ability to leverage data and metrics to drive performance required
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate people to create a challenging and collaborative work environment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving ability
  • Ability to contribute to a cross functional collaborative environment.
  • Good technical writing, documentation, and record keeping skills
  • Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel – ability to use pivot tables, lookups, and other data manipulation functions.
  • Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.
