Job Description:
This is a full-time, 17-month limited duration, classified position which is represented by a union. Limited duration appointments are benefits eligible and have a designated maximum length of service. This position is not eligible for remote work.

is seeking a Nursing Contract Timekeeping Specialist to join the Centralized Timekeeping Office Team.

This position falls under the classification of Administrative Specialist 1.

What you will do!

As the Nursing Contract Timekeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, calculating and auditing of Contracted Nursing Personnel time sheets and reconciling monthly Contracted Nursing Personnel invoicing.

What we are looking for:

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data. OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data. OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requested Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information and evaluate and choose the best solution.
  • Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, ask appropriate questions.
  • Ability to clearly articulate identified problems and desired outcomes.
  • Experience in teaching others, facilitating trainings and/or presentations.
  • Basic knowledge of the following: payroll laws, payable hours, state/federal rules and regulations, collective bargaining agreements pertaining to time portrayal.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with frequent interruptions and changing deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mediate, negotiate and compromise.
  • Extensive computer skills, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to critically think, convey ideas, exchange constructive criticism, mediate and actively listen.
  • Ability to perform mathematical computation and calculate military time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing on a regular basis in ways such as by e-mail, Team chat telephone and in writing.
